Brief Bio

I’m Elton “El Choppo” Tumbay, and I’ve been cutting hair for 14 years. I trained at the Premier Barber Institute, and over the years I’ve built a reputation for clean mid-skin fades and sharp beard work.

My approach is simple: every client is different. I take the time to listen, consult, and adapt my techniques so you leave the chair with a cut that fits you. Attention to detail and passion for the craft are what drive me every day.

I keep the vibe laid back here in West Philly, but I don’t play about quality. Outside the shop, I’m also a boxer with 5 fights under my belt — and I bring that same discipline and focus into every haircut.

Fun fact: when I’m not behind the chair, I’m an emcee for a high-end, multi-million-dollar event production company. I also run a personal TikTok account that’s grown to over 800,000 followers, where I connect with people worldwide through creative content.
